Trips outside the Sinai
Cairo
This visit includes a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world - the Great Pyramid of Cheops and the pyramids of Chephren, Mykerinos and the mysterious Sphinx. Afterwards visit the Egyptian Museum which houses a collection of over 120,000 masterpieces from the pre-dynastic era, Pharaonic era and the Greco-roman period in Egypt including the treasures of the child King Tutankhamun
Also included are visits to some of the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo including some of the early religious monuments before finishing off the day with some shopping at the famous Bazaar of Khan El Khalili.
By plane - leave Sharm at 05.00 returning around 20.00
By bus -    leaving Sharm 01.30 returning around 24.00

 

Luxor - one day by plane
This full day trip leaves Sharm in the early morning and after a 50 minute flight arrives in Luxor. Here your guide will take you to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings including the spectacular Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Afterwards cross the Nile by felucca to visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor before travelling back to Sharm in the evening.

Petra - one day by plane
Visit Petra "the Red Rose City". The city comprises a complete urban infrastructure which includes temples, baths, private houses, public buildings and markets. Its entrance, a one kilometre long split through the towering cliffs, "The Siq", provides a dramatic approach to the city. The narrow, winding path through the canyon dramatically opens up to show the amazing facade of the El Khazneh, "the treasury".
